A poem

Come the the alter,
Fall on your knees,
Jesus is waiting
To take your burdens and pleas.

All that you have ,
And all that you know,
He's given to you
Saying take this and go.

Go out and tell them,
The needy and lost,
Tell them of Jesus
How he paid the cost.

He took the beatings,
And died on the tree,
That whosoever believeth
Shall be set free.

It may not be easy,
It may not be fun,
But you will make it through
For God sent his only son.

Wow, great poem!!! I can write poems, but they usually start with, "Roses are red, Violets are blue...."LOL But ya know, violets aren't blue, they're VIOLET, like their name. I don't know who thought otherwise!

Hey, Kris! I liked your poem too! I write some, but I try to rhyme too much! Anyway, we had camp clean-up today, but there were only about 12 people there. I think we are going to have another day next week (Saturday, June 2nd), which is only one week from camp! Wow. Well, I was wondering if you could help. You could come for an hour, OR you could come ALL day. :D ;D I'll be there. Hopefully it won't be such a blustery day! Just let me know, via email (goldfish.megan@gmail.com) or through comments. See you in June!

Great poem, Kris! I hadn't visited here in awhile and your words were a special encouragement this morning!

We're getting together with the Rehms today to plan (or rather, finalize some plans) for camp. Yeah!!! Have a question for you -- could you e-mail me your phone # (& Mikki & Amanda's, too)!?? That would be wonderful! Oh, and do you know if Brad is planning to come?

Less than two weeks!!! We're really looking forward to seeing you again! ttyl!
