Big News!

Today, finally after about 2 months of anticipation, I finally was able to go and get my horse! I was so happy/excited/scared-I had to go by myself and the last time I pulled the goose neck trailer...ummm...lets just say things didn't go as planned! [sheepish grin]

He hogs the camera, I think he was to busy sniffing it to really care.

Well after riding for about 4 1/2 hours, I am home safe and sound, but man oh man! do my legs hurt! It is amazing how those muscles make themselves known after not really riding much all winter! And I have a feeling it is going to be about 50 times worse in the morning. My new horse is home, but still nameless, any suggestions?

He eats A lot!

He is messy to.

Have you ever had the urge to lie on you back and take picture of a horse eating grass? Resist it this is what happens to you! :)

Eating again!

He is a 4 year old gelding, about 15 hands high, and so sweet! He is such a big baby, but I love him!

Small Groups

This last week Saturday I spent the whole day in Edgely at Small Groups District Music. My two groups didn't do so well, we weren't last but we didn't make it to state. My cousin Micki on the other hand, stared in 9 out of 11 events, she clearly has all the musical talent in the family! [smile] Which is a good thing, since she is wants to be a music teacher. She showed us her talent again at her recital on Sunday, she is going to Europe this summer to sing, and she had a concert to raise money, it was really good!

Two Friday's ago, our drama club put on the spring production! Which was a murder mystery, comedy. I was fortunate to get to play the part of a mad professor! Not to mention I was able to break out my British accent, that was fun and very interesting! 6 "friends" are at a dinner party when they discover that the hostess, has either committed suicide or has been murder! luckily there is a detective there, unfortunately he is about three fries short of a happy meal most of the time. Then there is a Hope, the rich girl, Tanley the Moroccan Royalty, Sandy, the preppy Irish mini golfer. Detective Solved, the fake french maid Monique, the insane butler, Justin, The hostess sister, sister Bell Donna, who so happens to be a nun that took a vow of silence for 30 years. A strange Mexican stranger. And yours truly, Dr. Jackelyn Hyde. Through the course of the evening, the hostess is dead, the butler is killed, and the strand Mexican stranger chokes to death. So there are three murders and they still don't know who dunit! Not to keep you in suspense it turns out that it was the nun, who really wasn't the nun but the hostess, Prima, she poisoned her sister, and they dressed up like her so that she could inherit all her money back and live happily ever after. But we couldn't let that happen, turns out that the maid was really hired by Sandy to kill Prima, but then the really maid showed up, that was the Mexican stranger, so Monique poisoned her to get rid of her. Any how, Prima and Monique end up shooting each other, and the rest of the crew finally gets to eat! That is the end, if it made any sense at all.

Hello everyone!

The "maid" and the "stranger"

This is a very interesting diary

Just lookin' for some ID

She got me covered!

The Showdown

The End

The Cast

The Seniors

The Girls

The worst part was at the end after all the pictures were taken and the set was taken down it hit me, that was the last play i will ever do in high school, and the next time i am on that stage will be at graduation! As the year comes to an end i seem to be having that feeling a lot. Although I am certain that God has a plan for me, it is a little scary not know exactly what that is. I think this is where the trust and obey thing comes in!

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Proverbs 3:5

Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
Deuteronomy 13:4

Value

Two older men were sitting around have coffee one day, and one was telling the other how he was cleaning out his attic and found an old Bible, one of those family history ones, but is wasn't his family so he through it out. The other man was a antique book collector, and was inquiring about the book. The other man couldn't give a lot of details, but he said there was some thing like guten written on the side. The other man looked like he was about cry, and said "You through away a Gutenberg Bible, an original Gutenberg Bible! Do you know how much that is worth, one was just sold for over 2 million dollars!" The other guy looked a little surprised, but shrugged it off and said "Mine wouldn't have been worth that much some man named Martin Luther scribbled all over it in German."

I thought this was a cute story Pastor Dean told in church on Sunday. But really the bible it self is worth so much, it doesn't have to be a Gutenberg print to be valuable, all it needs is to tell the story of Jesus Christ, and that is worth more than anything in the world!

Blessed Assurance

Our pastor had a really really good sermon on Sunday. What blessed assurance we have knowing that Jesus died on the cross to take away the sin of the world! Knowing that he died to set us free. I was sitting in church on Easter Sunday, and even though I have heard the story so many times, it still brought tears to my eyes, He gave his life for me, I don't deserve it, God knows all I have done, any yet through his son I know I have a place waiting for me in heaven! It is like a breath of fresh air every time I hear the story. And the song Blessed Assurance, fits right in with the sermon.

"Greater love hath no man than this; that a man to lay down his life for his friends."
John 15:13

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not parish, but have everlasting life."
John 3:16

All Things

Wow has it really been a week since my last post!?! I guess between golf practice, Drama practice, school to work at the vet clinic and having stories to write for English, I kind of neglected my blog! for a quick up date of my weekend, on Saturday Amanda, Traci and I went bowling it was a long night, but we had fun. then on Sunday afternoon we, as in me, and 20 other school mates, left for FBLA convention in Minot, which is about a 5 hour drive. We where there until Tuesday, and arrived home sometime around 3:30 that night. And due to the recent snow storm it took me an hour to get home, not so much the snow but it was really icy! It is now Wednesday and we only have one day of school left for the week due to Easter! YEAH! It had definitely been a long week, and I am so ready for a long break! (It would have been longer but due to the number of snow days we had they had to take away Easter Monday.)

And as for school to work goes, it is a lot of fun. I get along well with the Vets and the Vet Techs, and I am really learning a lot, at least I think so, now I can remember some of the medicines, where they are and what they do! Last week we posted a dead calf, that means we cut it open and found out why it died, now to some people it would have been kinda gross, but I loved it! It was amazing to see all the organs, and stuff, I won't go into too much details, just in case any of you get a little queasy, I understand that not every one likes that kind of stuff. (smile) But really it is cool to see the way it all works and just marvel in the power of our God, knowing that he made everything!

Thou, [even] thou, [art] Lord alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all [things] that [are] therein, the seas, and all that [is] therein, and thou preservest them all; and the host of heaven worshippeth thee.
Nehemiah 9:6
