Time for Pictures!

Well, I think I have finally figured out my computer and now to get some of those pictures up that I promised!
School spirit comes in all shapes and sizes.

I picked up a new hobby this weekend can you guess what it is?

Amanda please don't get mad at me for posting this picture, you look so funny!

Look at that form! :)

Bowling any one?
This is the end of the night although we don't look it we were all a little tired!

This is my little buddy Triston. And that is he friend the chocolate chip cookie, that he has proceeded to smear all over! :)

This is Amanda a Triston, he got the cookie after he came to me.

This is a picture taken by Triston, he's a natural, just give him a camera and let him go!
( If only I could get him to take some action shots) Ashley won this game by 3 points! way to go guys.

Big Walleye! 26 inches and 7 lbs, we won't be eating this one!

This is Abby, A.K.A teeth grinder! This was taken on our way home from Minnesota.

This is the crew, or the kids anyway! We had a blast hanging out over the weekend and in this picture we are freezing, it was so cold out side. But we had a really fun weekend going swimming, going down the water slides and I can't forget the water Basketball, the girls won! Then there was playing Deal or No Deal, and learning how to knit.

Also on Monday we got the day off from school because of the weather. So I took the opportunity to spend some time jammin', so to say, with my Grandpa. It was a little rocky at first but it will just take time. We even did a little singing. I forgot my Camera, so if I remember next time, I will get some pictures.

"He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness."
Job 33:26

Eureka!

I finally figured out how to post my picture on my profile! But I am still having some difficulties with my home computer, but I think that is due to Internet problems, or something. Not to mention our computer crashed this last weekend so I lost everything and we have no clue why. Slowly but sure though, I am working on getting thing back to normal! This little sprawl with technology is getting old! Last week Wednesday the printer went crazy, shot out a whole bunch of paper and knocked over my water glass right on top of the mouse! Luckily we had a extra mouse on hand. So the only water I am allowed to have at the computer now is bottled! [grin]

"And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us."
Romans 5:3

Weekend's here!

Today is the last day of the school week, for me anyways. My family and I are taking a little vacation to Minnesota and we are leaving today after school. After a week of basketball games, pep band, bowling, working and more basketball games, it will be nice to get to relax. On Sunday the drama club preformed a play for a community super, and even though we never really had a true dress rehearsal, it turned out fine, or so we were told!

Also exciting is the anticipation of the new addition to the farm. We bought a horse from one of our neighbors who breeds and trains horses. I am very anxious and can't wait for the weather to get better so I can ride outside, and so it is not so cold. (Brandi I hope you are getting ready, I have a feeling that we will be doing a lot more riding this summer.)

I can't believe how fast January went! And I think February will go even faster! Well I better get back to class now, but I will try to get some good pictures this weekend and give a good update soon. Maybe I will even get some of the pictures I have from bowling last weekend on.

Ice Fishing

This afternoon I finally got to go ice fishing for the first time this year! Along with my Dad, and my two Great Uncles, and my uncles friend, we caught a total of 8 fish. Although it was absolutely freezing out side, I managed to wrangle in a couple perch, even though they weren't that big, my uncle let me keep them anyway. Due to the cold weather we only stayed out about 3 hours but it was fun. I don't have any pictures but maybe next time I go I can capture a picture of my prize!

"Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!"

Just A Quick Update

Tomorrow will be the end of the first semester. This week has been a little crazy, getting ready for finals, trying to get my book report done, it doesn't sound that hard but I procrastinate, not so much on reading the book, but getting the paper done has proven to be quick difficult. Luckily on my part, due to the snow they cancelled the wrestling duels for tonight so I should have plenty of time to get that written. Also on my to do list is my science fair project.

It is hard to think that the year is half over. Only 18 more weeks until I am a high school graduate! You know a wise person once said, "It seems that the older you get the harder and bigger the decisions that you have to make get." That is so true! but there is a plus side to time just flying by! Here is only 6 more mouths until camp! ( right Rachel )

"Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary:
praise him in the firmament of his power."
Psalms 150:1

Ooops!

Well my iPod is now squeaky clean! Being that it had a little spin in the washing machine this morning. It was more my fault then anybodies, being that I was the one who forget it in my sweatshirt pocket. It was looking good after I found it I restored it right away and it was actually working. But the volume was skipping all over the place so I decided to let is dry out while I went to work and just now I tried to turn it on and nothing happened, so I plugged it in and it kind of went crazy on me. Note to self, water and electronics don't mix! Oh well it is simply a material possession, and nothing to get upset over.

Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly,
righteously, and godly, in this present world;

Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture - Curtis

A nice View of the College

Who knew that I would go from one small town to another! Curtis, Nebraska's Easter City, is a little town in the southwestern part of Nebraska, I haven't been there yet but talking to people who have paints a nice picture. The college sounds so cool, with about 260 students, and a AVMA accredited veterinary technology program, I am so excited to see it. I am very close with my family and at this point the worst thing about the college is the 8 hour drive! Now if there was only a way to relocate my family to Nebraska! Just kidding [grin] I do have family in Colorado, who are only about 2 hours away, and they said I can come down any time. and with phones and the Internet I know I will keep in touch! I am so lucky to have such a supportive family behind me, I know that no matter what they love me. I have so much to be thankful for and I just want to take the opportunity to say I love all of you! And to my Mom and Dad- thank you for putting up with me through the years I now I wasn't always the easiest kid to raise, and I know that I have made a lot of mistakes, but I am lucky to have parents like you, I LOVE YOU! And I thank God for blessing me with parents as caring as you!

"But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint."
Isaiah 40:31

Happy New Year

Tonight I got to spend some time with my Grandpa, besides playing the accordion he knows a thing or two about the guitar also. So it was nice to get some tips and advice from him. We didn't have enough time to actually play together, but I can't wait until we do! Did I ever mention my Grandpa has a band, Rueben & Da Heck Mit Schultz Band, and they just made their first CD, entitled Breaking Out.

My Grandpa's the one middle
I would like to wish every one a Blessed New Year. School starts again tomorrow, I can't believe how fast the first half of the year went! Especially since this is my last year and there is only about 5 months left.

"Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me
from trouble; thou shalt compass me about
with songs of deliverance. Selah."
Psalms 32:7
