Just Chillin'

Well I know I really haven't posted in a while, and I can't really figure out if it is lack of ambition, or a lack of thinks to say, nothing really too out of the ordinary has been happening, homework, study, eat, sleep, and more homework, that is about the sum of college life, for some people you could put partying in there...but we won't get on that topic! Myah is doing, well she is growing so fast, and getting braver everyday! It is such a joy to have her around, she keeps be busy with all sorts of stuff to do! But I don't think I really knew how much like a kid she would be.[smile]

Being apart of the FFA group here in college I get the privilege of helping with the ranch Rodeo next weekend, that I am sure will be fun, and if I remember I will take my camera and post pictures... I have been terrible about taking my camera with me, or I will have it with me and not take pictures! But I will really try to have it with me next weekend and take pictures.

New news... I have my one room now, I don't remember if I told ya'll that... i guess i could post pics of my room now that I rearranged everything, it looks way different, and I love the new closet space!!! [grin]

She is always getting into something
Unless she is sleeping... she does a lot of that too!

The cutest thing today, she was playing with a water bottle, but her mouth was too small to get it all the way around it, so she would just keep pushing it around... it was so cute! The pictures of her sleeping are in my room even though she in not supposed to be in here... she has spent her fair share of time in my room. Here and in the car, the day after I went home for Fall Break, it was so nice to be home and to not have to drive! She loved the farm, and my family loved her too! I think my mom was a little disappointed when we were able to fit her kennel in the explorer, cause she was hopping that Myah would get to stay with them for a while... but not to worry she will be back for Thanksgiving! I had a great weekend! It was wonderful to get to see my family! I miss you all already! But Myah is a great company keeper, she is always giving me something to do!

Nothing Better to Do...

As I was sitting here, thinking of doing my homework for Animal Care, or thinking of what I could do instead of my animal care... [smile] I realized that I haven't blogged since last week! But that brought about a whole new problem... what to blog about? My boring college life... it is really just homework, sleeping, eating, more home work, and the occasional trip to North Platte, usually to go to Wal-Mart, we are poor college kids and Wal-Mart, is cheap! [grin]

OH! for some excellent news... my roommate was offered the R.A. position, it's not set in stone yet, but if she gets it, she would be moving out of my room... I know this is sad but I have already been dreaming about the extra closet space, and how to rearrange my room!! [smile] I will let you know for sure, what happens, hopefully by the end of this week! It is not so bad having her as a roommate, we get along... but her boyfriend is ALWAYS here, I get alone with him, but they sit on my bed and "watch movies" I am not quite sure why they can't climb up to her bed, she is the one who picked the top bunk in the first place! but it will all work out, if she doesn't get the R.A. job and move out... i will just pile every book I own on my bed every time I leave the room! [wink] Or I could just have a little cheat with her explaining that it really bugs me when they are on my bed... but the book thing sounds much more fun... plus I think that would send a very clear message don't you? [smile]

Well that is all I have for now, I should really make my bed, clean my room, wash my dishes, do some laundry, and maybe get do to doing my homework... "just kidding" ! I will do my homework first, besides I washed my clothes on Saturday, made my bed this morning, and only have one bowl to wash from lunch.

It was my privilege to meat, their cousin Micah this weekend, he was also kind enough to be the Manichean for the yard sale on Saturday! [smile]
And then there is Fred!

And no weekend would be complete with out a concert! Josiah was even back so he join in on a few songs! It was nice to get to see him this time. On Saturday night we went to a hot dog cookout, near where the Wissmann's used to live, when they lived in the country. We did a little barn swinging, that was so much fun but Bethany has all of those pictures... it was so much fun, I felt like a kid again!

4 Days til Seward

Since it has been awhile I figured that I would throw a post out, just to let you all now that I still alive! [grin]
It was a fairly busy weekend, they have a Fall festival here in Curtis, and that consisted of a parade, that I was supposed to be in but... we ran out of dogs to walk, oh well it was fun just watching, the Methodist church had a quilt show... WOW, There was a lot of beautiful quilts! It consisted of a fairly full, day. On Sunday, they had a very nice church service in the park, even with the showers we had that morning, the Lord provided and brought the sun out, for the perfect weather for an outdoor service.

Yesterday I had my first big college test, I think it went well, but that is only the beginning i have two more tests this week. But it is all good, cause this weekend I am looking forward to spending the weekend in Seward, it is going to be really nice to get away!

Good News: I tested out of the chapter in Math... so now I don't have to go to math class until they move on to something else!
